which tells the story of the last Queen of Hawaii, Lili-oukalani,
and the annexation of the island by the US in 1898
operamission presented two classic American operas,
The Rake's Progress by Igor Stravinsky, and Street Scene by Kurt Weill
Bronx Opera presented Regina by Mark Blitzstein,
based on the play The Little Foxes by Lillian Hellman
