James Reginald Hopkins III
American Born Tenor James Reginald Hopkins III Is an alumnus of the University of North Carolina school of the arts. Shortly after his studies James would go on to make his professional debut with Harlem opera theater as Misael in burning fiery furnace in 2014; an opera that is considered a rarity in the opera canon.
James was also seen as the tenor soloist for The Roy Prescod Choral in Puccini’s Messa Di Gloria in that same year. The following season Mr Hopkins returned with Harlem opera theater for the highly anticipated Historic revival of Voodoo the opera in the role of Zeke which was recorded and archived by Columbia university in 2015. In 2019 Mr Hopkins was a finalist in Harlem opera theater vocal competition.
